Welcome to the 2009 Atlanta Hamfest!

The Atlanta Hamfest is one of the longest running gatherings of radio amateurs for buying, selling, demonstrating, exhibiting, and swapping of equipment. You can always find a good mix of new and used equipment as well as parts too! The Atlanta Hamfest boasts a very large tailgate, license testing, great forums, nice prizes, good food, and friendly people. We are looking forward to another successful event and look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Activities:

Gwinnett ARS (GARS) Antenna Launcher Contest - 930AM - The Gwinnett Amateur Radio Society is pleased to be hosting the GARS Antenna Launching Contest on Saturday! Test your skills using a slingshot, air powered launcher, potato gun, bow and arrow or whatever it takes to get the job done. We hear tall tales about how slick you are at this task. Most hams at sometime need to launch a support for a wire antenna. Here’s your chance to show off or get put down! For more info and rules
